◆Atlantic, Mediterranean bluefin tuna catch quota cut by record 40%

RECIFE, Brazil, Nov. 15 KYODO
An international tuna conservation body decided Sunday to cut the annual catch limit for bluefin tuna by around 40 percent in 2010 from its 2009 level in the eastern Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, where most of the catch is destined for Japan.
