A Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer collided with a South Korean container ship in the Kammon Straits between Yamaguchi and Fukuoka prefectures and caught fire Tuesday night, leaving six crew members on the MSDF vessel slightly injured, the Defense Ministry said.
