Police raided the offices of companies that organized an event in April featuring pop singer Ayumi Hamasaki in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward for allegedly allowing the audience to flood onto the street without getting permission to use the road.
     The companies including Avex Entertainment Inc., the agent for Hamasaki, held the event in the afternoon of April 7 in an open space in front of the fashion emporium Shibuya 109 to celebrate the publication of a book by Hamasaki.
     When Hamasaki turned up at the event for several minutes, part of the audience poured out into the street, leading to the police action over alleged violation of the Road Traffic Law, according to the police.
