Rice paddy fields in the village of Inakadate in Aomori Prefecture bear Ukiyoe works by painters Sharaku (L) and Utamaro. Local rice farmers created the Ukiyoe works by growing different color rice plants. They can be seen until mid-August. (Kyodo)
